Situations can be very specific and difficult to categorize. That said, here are some general services that Aegis Technical Services can perform.
BASE CHARGE / FULL DIAGNOSTICS
All initial work is on-site, and as such, has a base charge to reflect that. This charge includes a full suite of hardware and software diagnostics, if needed, and covers general basic repairs. Remote work can be performed, and involves a lesser base charge.
DATA BACKUP / DATA RECOVERY / DATA TRANSFER
Aegis Technical Services can create customized, efficient and, most importantly, easy to initiate data backup scripts. Data can also be recovered from non-functioning systems, however it is never guaranteed until the attempt is actually made. Finally, data can be transferred from an old computer to a new computer.
OPERATING SYSTEM REPAIR
When an operating system becomes infected by viruses and spyware, or just plain stops functioning properly, Aegis Technical Services can repair it back to working order.
SYSTEM OPTIMIZATION
This is the bread and butter of all computer repair and is usually packaged together with other services at no additional charge. This is like an oil change on a car. We go in and optimize the computer so that it runs more efficiently, and at the same time poke around trying to see if anything looks amiss. Further, we update Windows and critical software components to both protect against security vulnerabilities, and keep them from pestering you about needing to be updated.
SOFTWARE / HARDWARE INSTALLATIONS
It would be great if new software and hardware components could be added to a computer without fuss, but unfortunately, it just doesn't work out that way. We're here to help. Any piece of software, any piece of hardware, we can get it working (barring compatibility issues).
NETWORK INSTALLATION AND TROUBLESHOOTING
Home networks are becoming a staple feature these days, but they haven't become any easier to install or maintain. That's where we come in. From simple networks with a single wireless computer, to complex networks with multiple computers and multiple shared connections, we can get it installed and working.
HOME THEATER COMPONENT INSTALLATION
Receivers, TV's, DVD players and surround sound systems. Just the wiring alone can be a nightmare. Sit back, relax, and let us worry about what goes where and how to best hide the cables. Unfortunately, we do not do in-wall wiring and rarely will we do wall mounting.
